Yes. We work with clients at every stage — from a single prototype or first article through to ongoing production programs and contract supply. Our in-house CAD/CAM capability means the same controls used for your prototype carry through to volume production.
Our laser cutting capacity covers sheet up to 4.0 × 2.0 m. Indicative maximum thickness is approximately 40 mm across mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Tube and box section cutting is available to approximately Ø300 mm and 8.5 m length — confirmed at quoting.

Heritage

Our Defence Story

In 1994 I stood at Williamstown Dockyard in Melbourne to witness the launch of HMAS Anzac (FFH 150), the first ANZAC Class Frigate built for the Royal Australian Navy. My late father’s business contributed precision-engineered components through a specialist manufacturer supporting the Tenix Defence program — a small part of an immensely complex undertaking, and an early lesson that no contribution is insignificant when it forms part of something greater than ourselves.
As the frigate slipped into the water, I saw what Australia achieves when it sets an ambitious vision and unites industry, government, Defence and thousands of skilled people — Australians alongside New Zealand partners and international designers and suppliers — behind a single objective. Breakthroughs of that scale never come from incremental improvement; they come from bold aspirations pursued with discipline and courage. The program delivered ten world-class frigates, eight of them for Australia — proof that strength lies not in technology, but in the ingenuity and determination of the people who build it. I left Williamstown proud of my father’s contribution, and prouder still of what had been achieved here in Australia.
Three decades on, that day still shapes how I lead Eurotech International. Eurotech International fabricates in galvanised steel two ways: working directly with pre-galvanised sheet for lighter-gauge parts, and fabricating in black steel then arranging hot-dip galvanising for structural and heavy-duty work. Pre-galvanised sheet arrives already zinc-coated — efficient for enclosures, brackets, ducting and light fabrication, with cut edges and welds touched up as needed. Copper and brass sit in a category of their own: electrically and thermally conductive, naturally antimicrobial, corrosion-resistant and — when the design calls for it — visually striking. Eurotech International fabricates both at Highett, from electrical busbars and earthing components through to architectural features, heritage restoration pieces and decorative metalwork.
Copper's reflectivity and conductivity make it demanding to cut and join — it needs the right equipment settings, tooling and joining method. We select between cutting processes based on gauge and finish, and join by TIG welding, brazing or soldering to suit the application, protecting the surface throughout fabrication so visible faces arrive unmarked.
Left natural, copper and brass develop a patina over time — often exactly the look architects want. Where you'd rather keep the bright finish, we can supply parts polished and clear-coated. Tell us the intent and we'll finish accordingly.

High strength-to-weight chromium-molybdenum steel fabrication for motorsport, aviation and performance applications — welded to documented procedures at our Highett facility.
Chromoly — chromium-molybdenum alloy steel, typically 4130 or 4140 — delivers significantly more strength than mild steel at the same weight, which is why it's the standard for roll cages, aircraft components, performance chassis parts and high-stress mechanical components. It's also less forgiving to fabricate: joint preparation, welding technique and heat control all matter. That's exactly the kind of work Eurotech is set up for.
Chromoly is TIG welded by our qualified welders to documented procedures, with joint preparation and heat input controlled to preserve the material's properties — thin-wall tube work in particular rewards a patient, skilled hand. Where a specification calls for post-weld treatment, we'll flag and arrange it as part of the job.
4130 is the tube-and-sheet workhorse — weldable, tough and the motorsport/aviation standard. 4140 carries more carbon for higher strength and hardenability, commonly machined into shafts, spindles and high-load components. We work with both, sourced with certification.

Exceptional strength, light weight and near-total corrosion resistance — titanium fabrication for aerospace, defence, medical and marine applications, handled with the process control it demands.
Titanium is the material you specify when nothing else will do: as strong as many steels at roughly 60% of the weight, essentially immune to seawater and most chemical attack, and biocompatible. It is also unforgiving — contamination during welding embrittles it, and it demands dedicated handling. Eurotech International fabricates titanium at Highett with the discipline the material requires, for the aerospace, defence, medical and marine sectors that specify it.
Above certain temperatures titanium reacts with oxygen and nitrogen, so welding requires full inert-gas shielding — including trailing and back purging — plus scrupulous cleanliness: dedicated tooling, contamination-free handling and clean cutting. Weld quality is visible in the colour of the finished bead, and documented procedures plus inspection back every joint we make.
Grade 2 (commercially pure) offers superb corrosion resistance and formability — the choice for marine and chemical applications. Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) is the aerospace workhorse, roughly twice as strong, used where structural performance rules. Both are sourced with full certification.
